Norman Lorenz and Ed Condon
Together, Ed and Norman are launching the Hope dei Bambini (Hope for the Children) Stuff the Bus Project, a California nonprofit initiative inspired by the belief that every child deserves access to the resources and experiences needed to succeed. The project will operate through the use of a classic school bus as a symbol of hope and community action, conducting annual campaigns to collect school supplies, food, clothing, and financial support for enrichment opportunities for children and youth.
For more than four decades, Norman Lorenz and Ed Condon have dedicated their lives to serving children, families, and communities through education, leadership, and advocacy. Together, they have worked to create environments where young people can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally while fostering a spirit of compassion, belonging, and lifelong learning.

Norman Lorenz is a lifelong educator, Montessori leader, professor, and professional learning and development collaborator whose work has focused on student success, equity, curiosity-driven learning, and transformational leadership. Throughout his career, he has championed programs that empower learners of all ages and create pathways for educational opportunity.

Ed Condon, former Executive Director of Head Start West, has spent his career supporting educational initiatives, nonprofit organizations, and community-centered programs such as Head Start that strengthen opportunities for children and families. His commitment to service, relationship-building, and community engagement has made him a respected advocate for helping others and creating meaningful partnerships that make a difference.
